It's a new year, and that means a fresh look at your business goals and marketing plan! A great way to start - ask yourself some simple questions:
What do you want to achieve? Do you have a forecast for 2020?
How might your goals be measured and scaled if successful?
However you answer those questions, take the next step by making your goals SMART.
When your objectives are SMART, they are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely (or time-bound). Often we have grand ideas and plans. Which is great. But - when we're conceptualizing, we often underestimate things like time, steps, or processes.
Make sure your SMART objectives are manageable and rooted in reality. Not sure how long something will take? Research. Find out how long certain actions truly take, this will give you a more realistic timeframe to work with.
With this framework in place, your goals will be broken down into more manageable action items.
Don't take too long to decide. Carve out time this week to think about your business marketing objectives and get planning!
