Clients - Where to find them?
Clients - Where to find them?

If you are starting a new business you will find that in the beginning, you are a bit obsessive. All you talk about is your business, some close family members might get annoyed. But don’t lose the enthusiasm, it will help you find your clients when you are first starting out.

To start getting momentum for your business there are a few things you will need to be willing to do.

One. Make a website, take the time to do it right from the beginning. Your website is a direct online reflection of your business. How do you want your customers to see your business?

Two. Tell everyone! Share your business with anyone who will listen, at this point, this can be the cheapest and most effective way to share the news that you started your own business. Don’t be salesy, that can be a turn off to potential customers. Carry your business cards with you everywhere!

Three. Get your marketing going. Don’t wait until you have money to spend on advertising. There are many different opportunities to get your business online presence up. Starting with Social Media and asking your friends and family to follow your page.

Four. Start networking. There are so many networking groups and events that are the greatest opportunity for business. You never know who someone might know, that could change your business forever.

Five. Be patient. Do not run yourself ragged trying to get your first clients. Spend time building the foundation of a strong stable business. When you are busy with new customers you will thank yourself for doing the important research and planning beforehand.

As a business owner myself, I understand the stress and anxiety that can be intertwined with entrepreneurship. But all of the hard work makes it all worth it when you can look back on what you accomplished.
