When starting a new business, you put yourself on the internet to find and get new customers. However, a new business owner will not spend the money it takes to get a business line, or 1-800-number, or even a specific separate phone.
There is a simple solution to needing a different number but wanting them to route to your existing cell phone. The answer is Google Voice.
Google offers you an option to sign up for Google Voice and download the app to your phone.
Start by going to www.voice.google.com.
All calls will be routed through your existing phone number, but then Google will create a forwarding number to send your call through from a Google Voice number.
When setting up your account, selecting your new phone number is available.
The ability to accept calls and voicemails and send text messages through the Google Voice app.
