Hi! My name is Kelsey, and I am an entrepreneur and Google Certified Expert. Today, we will discuss how you can use Google Business (previously known as Google My Business or GMB) to make it easy for local customers to find you.

Chances are good that when you have a question you can’t answer, you turn to a search engine for help. Google supports over eight and a half billion searches per day. Needless to say, it’s # 1 when it comes to queries!

And when your question concerns a local problem, such as “Thai restaurants near me” or “shell shop in Orlando,” and you type that into Google, the well-optimized Google My Business listings tend to appear as your results!

Your Google Business profile is the first thing users see when they search. It includes photos of your store, your address, and even your hours of operation—and that’s only the beginning!

A properly managed GMB profile helps you appear in local searches and builds trust with potential customers. Positive reviews can set the right impression, making local customers more likely to choose your business over others.

Google My Business also offers unique features like Insights, which provide valuable data on how customers interact with your listing. By analyzing this information, you can refine your local marketing strategy and optimize your content to better meet the needs of your potential customers.
